How to prepare for treatments?
It is extremely important for us that every client feels comfortable during the massage and is fully aware of health limitations affecting the ability to perform the therapy.
- Please wear a comfortable bra, as during the Kobido Up massage, access to the neckline and armpits is necessary.
- Additionally, please remove earrings and necklaces and let your hair down.
- It is also important to have a meal before the massage so as not to be hungry, as fasting can increase stomach acid production.
- It is also worth remembering to remove makeup before the treatment, if possible, and not to apply oils and heavy creams to the skin.
- On the day before the massage, I recommend drinking at least 1.5 liters of water.
- We do not perform massage in case of elevated body temperature, active herpes on the lips and nose, inflammatory skin conditions, bacterial infections, or open wounds on the face, neck, and décolleté area.
- Transbuccal massage is not performed in cases of oral cavity inflammations like mouth ulcers, mucous membrane damage, or gum diseases.
- Massage is not recommended for rosacea, tooth extraction sites, botox treatments (3-week gap), fillers (5-week gap), and thread procedures.
- Avoid Kobido massage for 4 weeks after laser and radiofrequency treatments and for 2 weeks after chemical skin peels.
- The treatment is also contraindicated for epilepsy, high blood pressure, pregnancy in the first trimester, high-risk pregnancies, and in cancer patients up to 5 years after remission.
During the massage, a gentle oil is used, and the treatment includes the scalp, so hair at the roots may become oily.
For full relaxation, we kindly ask to put your phone on mute and disable notifications on watches.
- Kobido Up massage: the number of recommended treatments depends on the condition of the skin, a minimum of 4 treatments at weekly intervals, then for maintenance once every 2 weeks.
- Sinus manual therapy: 4 treatments at weekly intervals, a month break, 4 treatments at weekly intervals (in cases of severe, chronic sinusitis) or 2 treatments at bi-weekly intervals (for maintenance therapy).
